What inspired you to go into music?

Growing up, music was just a hobby of mine. After graduating from high school, I attended the University of Kentucky to pursue equine reproductive surgery and participated in the universities competitive equestrian teams. During this time, I suffered a major riding accident and was left with life-altering disabilities that affected my ability to continue this path. It was because of this that I came back to music, and found a renewed passion that has brought so much joy and purpose to my life! I have found so much freedom within music performance and I absolutely love to share the beauty of music with audiences.

What is an interesting fact about you?

I'm obsessed with frogs and bugs!

What activities do you enjoy in your spare time?

I enjoy cooking, playing video games and hiking.

What are you most excited for about this 2024-2025 season?

I am extremely excited to learn from and play music with the talented and kind musicians in these ensembles! The music selections are absolutely lovely.
